Focus Diagnostics publishes health information to help patients understand tests, scans, health packages and common conditions. This policy explains how that content is created, sourced, medically reviewed and kept up to date, so you can trust what you read here.

Who creates our content

Our health content is written by the Focus Diagnostics content team in consultation with our practising clinicians. Content about imaging and radiology, and about laboratory and pathology testing, is prepared with input from the relevant specialty so that explanations are accurate and clinically appropriate.

How we source information

• We rely on established medical references, national accreditation standards and accepted clinical guidance rather than opinion.
• Test preparation, procedure and safety information reflects how the service is actually delivered at Focus Diagnostics.
• We do not publish prices, turnaround times, equipment claims or availability that are not supported by our operational data.

Medical review

Clinical pages carry a “Medically Reviewed By” note showing the reviewing clinician and the date last reviewed. Our full process is described in our Medical Review Policy.

Keeping content accurate and current

Health information is reviewed periodically and updated when guidance, services or preparation instructions change. Where a page has been reviewed, the last-reviewed date is shown on the page.

Independence

Our educational content is written to inform, not to advertise. Where a page describes a Focus Diagnostics service or package, it is clearly a service page. Editorial explanations of conditions and tests are kept separate from promotional messaging.
