HEPATITIS B ENVELOPE ANTIBODY (ANTIHBE)

The Hepatitis B Envelope Antibody (Anti-HBe) Test is a laboratory blood test that detects antibodies against the Hepatitis B e Antigen (HBeAg). Hepatitis B is a viral infection that affects the liver and is transmitted through contact with infected blood, body fluids, contaminated needles, sexual contact, and from mother to child during childbirth.
