ANTI SOLUBLE LIVER ANTIGEN (SLA)

The Anti Soluble Liver Antigen (SLA) Antibody Test is a specialized blood test that detects autoantibodies against Soluble Liver Antigen (SLA), a highly specific marker for Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH). The presence of Anti-SLA antibodies is strongly associated with Type 1 Autoimmune Hepatitis and is considered one of the most specific serological markers for this chronic autoimmune liver disorder.
